We are now looking for a Senior Digital Hardware Designer with strong experience in board-level digital design to strengthen our hardware team.

About the Role

In this role, you will design and develop high-performance digital hardware systems that push the limits of what is technically possible. You will work closely with customers and internal experts, contributing your knowledge throughout the entire development cycle — from early architecture and design decisions to verification and product acceptance. The focus is on CPU/SoC-based systems, high-speed digital interfaces, and signal integrity. This is a role for engineers who enjoy technical responsibility, complexity, and real engineering challenges.

Responsibilities include

• Responsibilities include
  Design and develop digital hardware systems from requirements to production

• Drive system architecture and schematic design for CPU/SoC-based boards, including power distribution and clocking considerations

• Make key design decisions for memories, Ethernet, clocking, and high-speed digital interfaces, with attention to signal integrity and robustness

• Collaborate closely with customers to define requirements and robust, system-level solutions

• Participate in design reviews, verification, lab work, and acceptance testing, including board bring-up and debugging

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

• PHD or 6+ years of hands-on experience in mixed signal hardware design

• Proven experience with CPU/SoCs, DDR memories, Flash, Ethernet PHYs/switches

• Strong understanding of signal integrity in high-speed digital designs and SI/PI simulations

• Experience with schematic design for complex digital systems

• Comfortable working in a hardware lab with modern measurement equipment

• Ability to work independently, take technical ownership, and drive work forward

• Fluent in English

• Swedish work permit

Meritorious

• Experience with SI/PI simulation tools (IBIS/SPICE-based)

• PCB layout experience (e.g. Altium, Cadence)

• Knowledge of digital interfaces such as I2C, SPI, CAN, Ethernet, USB, MIPI

• Basic programming for test systems (e.g. Python)

• Experience with EMC/EMI and regulatory requirements
