About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented PCB Designer to join our teamat Qamcom. In this role, you will be hired as a consultant responsible for creating, optimizing, and verifying PCB layouts for a variety of products. You’ll collaborate closely with mechanical engineers, hardware engineers, firmware developers, and project managers to ensure high-quality designs that meet performance, manufacturability, and reliability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain PCB layouts based on electrical schematics and design requirements.

• Work with cross-functional teams to refine design specifications and resolve layout-related issues.

• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, EMC/EMI requirements, and manufacturing constraints.

• Perform design verification, including DFM/DFT checks.

• Prepare fabrication and assembly documentation.

• Support prototype builds and assist with troubleshooting as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of industrial experience.

• University degree in a relevant field (e.g., electronics engineering).

• Proven experience with PCB design tools (e.g., Cadence OrCad, Altium Designer, KiCad, or similar).

• Strong understanding of PCB stackup, routing strategies, high-speed design, and signal integrity.

• Experience with EMC/EMI considerations and design best practices.

• Ability to interpret schematics and work closely with hardware engineers.

• Attention to detail and a structured, analytical approach.

• Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

• Swedish citizenship is required.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with rigid-flex or HDI designs.

• Familiarity with electronics manufacturing processes.

• Knowledge of scripting or automation for PCB tools.
