Power Electronics Engineer
Qamcom is growing and we are looking for a talented Power Electronics Engineer with experience to join our Qamcom office in Gothenburg!

About the role:
We are looking for a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to join Qamcom. In this role, you will design, analyse, simulate and verify advanced power electronics solutions across a variety of applications and industries.
You will work across the full technical scope—from power conversion and switching strategies to control circuitry, protection, filtering and thermal performance. Depending on the project, you may contribute to anything from sensor-related applications to larger and more complex power conversion systems.
The role combines hands-on engineering with in-depth analysis and verification. You will work both independently and alongside experienced colleagues and customers throughout different stages of the development process.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we believe that you have:
6 years or more professional experience in power electronics design.
Strong experience designing and verifying power conversion solutions, including DC/DC and AC/DC converters.
Experience in analogue circuit design for monitoring and control applications.
Solid knowledge of power electronics topologies, switching techniques and control methods.
Experience working with power semiconductors and associated gate-driver circuits.
A good understanding of power losses, thermal management, protection and EMI/EMC considerations.
Experience with circuit simulation and schematic capture tools, such as LTspice, PSpice or Cadence.
Swedish citizenship, as required by the security requirements associated with the role.
